Hi to all...

I am from Hyderabad, India, and have been in Canada for 5 years. To those who came up with the idea of a group to help each other.......... thanks.

Honestly, we do get inclined to get sentimental about a place we live in, for so long. However I guess the idea of forming a group should be to exchange important information, views, and spending some quality time together, at a mutually agreed time.

I know it is awkward for a lot of qualified, skilled and experienced Hyderabadis to tell each other, what they do for a living in Canada. Some of us may have years of experience, the best education in India, and yet be working in a non descript company doing something we really don't enjoy. I think we could use this forum to help each other, exchange information, or start a joint venture by pooling skills, resources, and talent.

I would invite like minded people to write to me their views, I must write in passing, that in the past I have had little response to people from other regions of India........... Can Hyderabadis be different?

I would like to ask forgiveness from those who are more than willing to brand me as "parochial, prejudiced or what-name-you." I do not intend to hurt the feelings of those from other regions of India.

Yes,Hyderabadis CAN be and IS different!!!!

A Hyderabadi does not necessarily mean a south indian or Telugu/urdu or any lingo specific and it has its own language.

Hyderabadi has a unique style and culture.A Hyderabadi is multi-cultured and can be from north/south/east /west and still be a hyderabadi.
