Hi,
I applied for a study permit to Canada on 1st March from London, UK. Anybody else here, in the forum, applied/applying for the study permit from the London office, please share the timeline!!
I was been told by the lady at the counter that it might take 2 weeks, or 3 or 4 or 5!!!!!! Nothing fixed. However, after i requested here to make it as soon as possible, she did put a note on it, 'urgent' Can anybody tell me, how long i would really take? My university program starts after 6 weeks!!!!

I have the problem exactly the same as you, please tell me what happen to you and when did you receive your visa?
And do you know how I can check the status of my application.

I got the visa in 5 weeks time...... (usually it takes 2-3 weeks) there is nothing you can do make it work faster....... u cannot check your application status... canadian embassy works with their own pace which is sadly extra slow!!
the best thing to do is WAIT......

Thank you so much for your response. Could you please also tell after week fifth do you receive visa or you were invited for interview of medical exam?

i dint get an interview, neither did they tell me to do the medical.
if u have stay in uk for more than a year u might not get a medical, just directly u visa stamped!
