Hello CDs,
I read a lot of discussion about vacation plans but couldn't churn much. My wife and I are planing for a cheap(low budget and cost-effective) vacation for 3-5-7days, during May or June. We would like to travel in Canada however bordering town of US can be suggested too. We live in Ottawa and 've been to Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Stratfort (ON) and Niagra and in USA to NYC and Atlantic City.
We are open to any mode of transport including cruises provided it is in our low budget. We are not too much of 'camping people' but we love nature (Prakriti ke sanidhya main).
Our budget is around $500 to $1000, for everything from stay to travel....
Waiting for some warm and wonderful responses.
Reagards,
kisi.

Thanks cdn_dude!
Yes, in other posts as well there was a lot of talk about Algonquin National Park- thanks for your recomendation. However, it seems we 'desis' are not that much in traveling and exploring places or may be Canada doesn't've many places to see....
Get some ideas folks (I guess we enjoy masala stuff a bit too much so much so that when TK Saab write about his US border experience people even responds in silence....). My intensions are not to offend anyone- it ones' choice to respond to which ever topic- but my submission is that the idea of a forum like this is to have healthy, helpful and fruitful discussions. I'm sure you would agree with this and instead of reacting to my thoughts above please respond to the original query.
Thanks a lot for your time and consideration.
Regards,
Kisi.
