Well, if any of you have visited Cuba, please share your overall experience whether it is OK to visit with a 7 year old kid (my daughter) who should also enjoy the trip.

The kids will enjoy...so will you but go with the understanding that the star rating is a bit exaggerated. e.g: a 4 star in Cuba is probably like a 2-3star hotel in Bahamas or Mexico. Also would recommend that you read up on the various vacation sites about what how to tip the locals etc. e.g: toothpaste, soap etc are sought after commodities under the communist system(i dont know if Raul has made a difference to this).
Nice proud local people there, in spite of the system. We had a good time. Food was in plenty but not too good. Heard that the best produce of cuba is reserved for the tourist industry(sad in itself)...however the cooking is another story.![]()
Don't know if you are veg...maybe a bit tough...but fruits are plenty too.
A lot will depend on where you stay...look for a 4 star or higher rating.
