Flew into Chennai two days back. British Airways IMO, is much better than Air France. Good food, good tv programs, hindi movie, etc. AF does not care abt Indian programs (that was last year). Right on time. Flew to Bangalore today.

Have to say we were quite pleasantly surprised by AF when we flew to Bangalore a couple of months back. Especially after the horror stories of baggage being misplaced in Paris - no problems either way for us.
Planes were decent - the 747 on the Paris-Toronto leg is actually quite old. It ha been renovated but still lacks some amenities like no individual entertainment centers.
The Paris-Blr plane was a nice A380.
Food was quite nice, although we only tried the western entrees.
Going through security check in Paris (even if you're in transit) is a bit of a pain.
BA might be better but I would not use that - just to avoid stop over at London. Tooooo much of hassel these days !!!

Both pigeon hole you.
They assume you prefer Indian fare to continental stuff. Hindi flicks to English.
How come none have South Indian flicks? Ever been on a flight with such flicks. Even on Air India? Maybe a few accidental ones here and there.
Oh well, it's the world- clubbing.
we do it ourselves amongst ourselves, whatever.
Flights these days are a drag. Too much securty checks. Use to enjoy flying once upon a time. Used to fly a lot, like once a week, short haul. Now it's too much hassle.

No hassle in London. Food was good. Montreal-London-Blore. Right on time. Last year we flew by AF. No Indian programs on tv or radio. BA is better.
