I believe #2 has already been answered in the other posts above. Pretty much as long as you don't have an address, bank account, etc. in Canada you are generally not responsible for taxes. Like jonav suggested, I would refrain from getting your SIN unless you plan to work here. i.e I would only get it when you finally come to Canada permanently.
As far as #5 if you have never driven before, and would need driver's training, my understanding is that it can be quite expensive, your best bet would be search the forum or google for driving schools in the area. The actual graduated licensing process itself should not be too expensive, however auto insurance if you actually want to get a car is a whole different issue.
#1 - you could provide an "approx" figure - err to the higher value is OK as no harm if you bring lower goods of lower value.
#2 - better to get advice from professional who handles similar cases - the fee you would pay will certainly compensate for the loss of "unknowns".
#3 - compare the features/prices for brand names that have global after sales support (Dell/sony/toshiba/lenovo/etc) with the offers from few links below - add 14% to products sold in Ontario as tax.

#4 - choosing a apt on or close to subway is advisable if you dont plan to drive (to reccommend a few intersections with plenty of rental apts - yonge/finch, don mills/sheppard, yonge/davisville, yonge/sheppard, yonge/eglinton)

yellowknife: Thanks for your time and response, however for point # 2 in third para , I have mentioned about global income of 100K, any idea on that?
Secondly I was thinking of applying for SIN , so in parellel can fish for jobs still being in my present country of residence till the time I have to stay back due to some reasons, but would I be taxable if apply for SIN? even me not being in Canada nor have job or any other connection other than PR?
As far as driving is concerned, I know to drive but before I get my license I had to change my country due to work and so happened that could not take the license, in these circumstances I dont have a driving license, but I know to drive, so was looking for answers what could be the cost of accquiring the same there and how much time will it take?
Dear Coolcola: Thank you so much for the links and inputs and guidance. I shall refer them all and raise any doubts if still have, thanks again for your response and precious time too.

IMy questions are
1. On............................. landing there for ever.
2. Will my income (earned out of Canada) after stamping the PR and getting SIN become taxable, if so how much percentage will be taxable, and how I should be paying my taxes, what will be the formalities to be done for this.
I do not wish (If there is a legal provision) to pay tax for the income I have not earned in Canada and also when I have not started living in Canada .
Recently a friend informed me that income earned out of Canada after getting PR if is more than 100K CAD, then the amount above 100K is only taxable under the Global income parameter, Is this true? OR is there any other rule or catch 22 situation.
3. Is it better to buy ..................................................and quality?
4. In the initial period I shall be in Toronto.....................................................has more public transport facilities and health care available.
5. How much is the total cost ............................... does not know driving.
Dear Freddie,
Thank you so much for your time in clearly understanding my question, specially #2 and replying. Thanks for highlighting the \"Out of Canada\", you are right, it gets misunderstood. I will try myself to correct the question and if not possible will take help of administrator.
You are right, I will ask the friend who informed me about the taxable structure(100K plus) to clarify and provide the source of information.
You have eased my worries to the subject by using the simple YES & NO method, appreciate that indeed.
Thanks once agian!
