Can anyone suggest, which course is better in Calgary for Children of Grade 4
I heard that TLC ( Traditional Learning centre) is better as more study, more homework for Children
Can some suggest whether to go for TLC or regular courses

m2611/mumdxbcan,
Explore through the websites. The next generation of students will have a lot more of the school materials and web based in home studies too to supplement their curriculum, so don't have to worry about the education except help them with some home work and projects.

Since you mentiond Grade 4, I chose to provide you with the details of the courses. Some times we do not have a choice, due to the non availability of all of the schooling systems in every location that we choose to live. So we are plum out of luck.
Please do your own analysis and see if she has completed all of the course materials. If you have any specific questions, do not hesitate to ask the SCHOOL Board, in the location you intend to live and pursue the child's education. International languages are also taught and provided with due credits and see if the child has proficiency in any one of them or more than one. Lot of European children do.

Please get all of the certificates, such as vaccination certificate and any other in the health card, that is specified as required.
Educational: school certificates in Music, sports, extra curricular activities, languages and hobbies, all originals.
You can mail copies of them them to the area you wish to settledown, to a school in the nearby location, where you will be having your base, Residence, If you have one. Otherwise after you land and settle down, you may get the curriculum materials and test her yourself and then take her to the school and then enroll. They will be conducting the suitability test for a level that you are aiming for. Now you are ahead of the game.
CD website has a lot of materials on ALBERTA and thier Education system. All of the Schools start here on the 4th of September this year. {Normally the first Tuesday after the Labour Day. Our Labour day is the first Monday of the September.}
Now, let your fingers do the walking.
Freddie.
Thanks Freddie
For the valuable information
At present , I am not in a position to decide wheter to go for TLC or regular course as some people says TLC is better while many says regular is okay.
Also TLC schools are few in Calgary & nearest available is more than 10kms, so I think its not worth to send Grade 4 child so far.
May be we will go fro regular school this year & will change to TLC in grade 5 next year. Hope by that time I will get more correct & precise info abt TLC course
Lets see
