I would like to share my new ideas to you all who are interested to start something new with NO investment. I haven't being to Canada so I don't know the purchase cost in Canada but the real professional enterprenuer will calculate cost and assume profit accordingly.
Rent-A-Plant business
(1) Buy beautiful artificial plants, flowers, runners, plastic pots, coloured stones, etc... in wholesale.
(2) Put the plants, flowers and runners in the pots and fill it with coloured stones.
(3) Rent it to offices, shops, factories, consulates, airports, etc.... with a fix monthly rent.
FAQ
Q - Why will they rent if they can buy at the same cost ?
A - You will change the plant every month. So he gets new looks in his place every month.
Q - Transportation is costly ?
A - You will have nearly 25 to 35 customers in that particular area so you have to just take the plant from place A and replace it at place B and vice versa. This will continue for 1 to 2 years till the cycle completes. After that you can transport the whole 25 to 35 plants from one area to another.
Q - Investment is big ?
A - No investment. You will take security deposit of the plant from the company and assure to make rent-a-plant contract with them for a year.
Q - What if the plants gets damaged ?
A - Artificial plants has a shelf life of more than 5 years. If you find any damage at particular place than charge the damage to the concern party.
Q - Any extra care ?
A - Only sprinkle water on it while changing from one office to another.
This is a new concept. Please give your views on it. I think this is a better idea to start in one city and than continue success into another.

I was working for a bank few years ago in the real estate division. One of the contractor job was to provide live plants at various TD Corporate Buildings. They used to water and take care of the plants and every month used to circulate the plant position in different buildings in downtown.
When live plant services is available, why any one would take artifical plants. In the case of live plant it is all contractor risk.

The concept of live plants is there everywhere but when they water the plant the place becomes messy and dirty even when they clean and go. Also due to non-availibility of sunlight in many places the plants die out quickly leaving the plants, flowers and leaves looking dull.

The plants placed in the buildings are such these can survive without sunlight. Also, the contractors do not water it everyday. They check the moisture level with a meter and water the plants. No mess.
Even in our houses here, we keep plants inside the house for most part of the year and without any sunlight. They do survive years after years
I believe Live plants contracts might be heigher than the artifisial one.
dont know the details but if that is the case then the concept will work as most of the small business wanted to cut the cost

Can you tell me what is the price for renting one live plant in Canada? I will calculate and reply with feasibility of this project report.
I think you will only get live plants which requires less water and sunlight. I don't want to go deep into this issue but different plants have different level of consuming water and sunlight. Just keep one live plant and one artificial plant in your house and see the difference.
Artificial plants are cheaper in cost, no headache of meter level's, no recurring expenses involved like live plants and bears light weight for transportation.
So overall, this business is good comparing live plants. With this business, anybody (even new immigrants) can get entry into any companies or offices and be intouch with the RIGHT guy to get his RIGHT job.
