Hi. I had applied for citizenship for myself and my wife in first week of January 2008.
For the last 2 weeks, my online status shows up as "Received", and just yesterday I got a letter from CIC confirming the receipt of 2 applications along with the book for test-preparation.
My question is: What is the next status change that I should expect to see? And how soon should I expect it?
The letter that I just received... is this the "acknowledgment letter" that everyone talks about?
Please answer my questions with your personal experiences. Please don't send me any links to the CIC website. I have already seen the website.
Thanks,
A
Next step is "In Process". What you received is the ack letter. How soon you will see next steps? Anywhere from 2 to 6 months.

I had sent citizenship application for my wife, my son and me in one envelop.
I can see my status online using the Clien ID mentioned in ack letter.
I can't see status of my wife and my son online.
Is this ok? OR Something wrong in my case only?
Thanks

Anyone knows about online status? I can see status online for me but not for my wife and my son. why?
Thanks
