Hello all!!
I have filed my immigration last month, march 2008 to the buffalo office-- Currently, i am working under post grad 1 year work permit..I just realized that i am under SKILL C category--and the codes i entered on immigration papers for NOC fall under SKILL C--
I havent received my file number yet--i dont know what to do.. i have over 3 years of work experience..8 months under Category B and rest under Category C(which they dont count)--
This means, i wont qualify for immigration--Should i request to have my papers back???
The publication is called 'MONITOR' and is issued by Government of Canada.

Not able to comment upon the subject matter in your message without having a total view of the case. It looks like you have evaluated the situation and currently find it was a mistake, in retrospect. Having noted your own evaluation I will go along with you, if the skill set is below par for you to qualify for immigration.
If it is not just the codes you entered that you are worried about, which you can amend with a next letter quoting the page and the line, after you receive the file number, you can alternately find a highly skilled job and see if your current employer will match the same. If not switch allegiance to the next employer. You will be in a commanding position to get immigrated.
Your employer is supposed to issue you with a copy of the work permit for your use and I would urge you to look into it and if it needs correction then ask them to upgrade the permit to the one that will enable re-entry as an immigrant? Can you get them to do it for you?
Hope this helps a little.
Freddie.
Everything else is fine..
I have 1.7 years experience in a vehicle finance company as a account officer code of 1435--which falls under Category C--
Rest of the work expereiences are fine but totals of 11 months..My graduate work permit also states to work as a Account Manager (i am actually an account officer but previously our designations were Account Manager with similar duties) at the same company i am working for right now..
My employer is willing to help me in any way--
But my major concern is to change those codes before they open my file. I can easily find highly skilled job in Type B category..
So should i just send a letter with the new form filled and just fax it to them?
Would they be able to change that for me?
Another thing?
How can my employer apply for HRSDC approval for my job--would that be able to help me?
