Thanks for the enlightening write up. But can we have some real information? As to how fast the processing of apps goes?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What little I know, there are about 10,000 applicants that are getting selected from that area. What they are looking for are DOCTORS. They have about 80 or so currently working as interns. That they have done a good selection and worked it through the pilot program and they are in full swing. I am pretty sure that they will be looking for more and also with different criteria and the other fields also. Most of the applicants will get entry in about 5 years, give or take a few months.

It generally happens, that most of the people coming out of India have a GOOD Basic Education, what ever may be the colour of their collars are. They will slowly get assimilated into their fields of their own selection, either by upgrading their educational qualifications, or settling downwards to a profession, being unable to decide what to do just as they entered. They could have been seeking a vocational guidance and improving from such a position, rather than getting stuck in that job when they first settled down.

That is where the pilot program is helping people before they arrive here. Once they get channeled, they are able to move better to a location and into a course that will help them.

The Basics are what gives them the entry into the next level. Once you have some papers, it lets you move in a little better manner upwards and see where it will take you from there.

Just to give you an example, you can go to the Sheridan Vocational guidance OPEN House and find out where you can seek employment and at what level and how to get qualified with a minimum of efforts to the next level. All you have to do is enroll and get moving. For that you have to take the first step. See if you can do that. All they ask is three weeks of your time. Can you do that?

Good Luck.

Hope this answers all of the matters that you have raised here.

Freddie.
