We have been called for the judge interview on 30th july. does anyone have any idea what kind of questions the judge asks. Are they very strict in mississauga. Pls tell us of your past experiences if any???tks...
It will help us prepare better for the interview.
A little bit more info on your situation would be helpful. Why were you called to appear before the judge?

Instead of replying to the above link, GUBS started a new thread.
As far his question is concerned, I offer the following ( I have never been infront of a CIC judge but my reply is based on my common sense and some previous information shared in CD by other members. Gubs would do good, if he cared to do a search in the Charcha of CD) :
The judge will ask you about the days that you had been out of Canada. He will give you a form to fill in the days (exact) that you were absent from landing to the submission of the application form. So it would be prudent if you could already document the dates absent in a page along with reason / place of stay.
The judge normally gets impatient after 30 mins. after handing you the form and will ask if you have completed it (again, this depends on the Judge Mood and his future schedule. You can expect that if he had fought in the morning with his spouse or child, you can expect him to be grumpy).
The next will be the proof to show. Again he will be very concerned about the day you left and rentered Canada. Again proofs can be Credit card activity, Phone bills, Entry/Exit stamps, Stay at the hotel, Rental car receipts etc...
Just be prepared for the unexpected and have all the documentation ready so that you can show it to the Judge if he asks for it.
Again, this is a very diff. senario from a failed refugee claim in which the Judge is more sympathetic to your crying, horror stories etc.. In this type of claim, it would be prudent if you were well dressed, confident, cheerful, smiling, speaking only in English at all times (even exchanges with your spouse, child etc...),
Hope this helps and I am sure that other CD's would chip in with their views.
Peace

It is me and my wife. The reason we figure out for calling us for the judge interview is the fact that first of all we are on a term deputation to USA from my company. I work for an IT company. Secondly becoz i had lot of US stamps on my passport as my head office is in USA. Nevertheless i completed my 1095 days and then applied for the citizenship. But i guess the various day trips and the stamps makes my case go to the judge.
Gubs,
how did your interview go? are you invited for oath or still anything further requires to be proven?
