Hi guys,
I have an interview with Citizenship judge. I have been given a residential questionnaire before. I have also taken a citizenship written test.
I am not sure whether I passed my test or not. My questions are as follow:
1) The interview with judge letter does not say anything about written test result. Am I suppose to take the written test again before judge interview?
2) How do you know the result of your written test?
3) Is it going to be in a separate office where only me and judge will be there or it is going to be a court room kind of environment?
4) Would I get enough change/time to prove my points?
Thanks,
Mitul Patel
Congrats - you have reached the final hurdle . You may google 'residence questionnaire rq' to read further and know the clear picture . To answer your qs in brief :
a. No you would not be required to take the test in writing . However the Judge MAY test you on citizenship when in person and unlike the written test , the pass % is higher .. which means that there are no options for answers and you should not get many qs wrong ..So cram up the booklet .
b. I guess you may not know , but during the chat with the Judge , you may ask him informally that you wonder how you fared at your test .
c. Separate office where you & judge will be there.
d. I presume so .. though its Judge specific . It would be more like an interview and I feel that unless there s something drastically amiss in your application , the Judge should be good and talk with you casually.
However be well prepared - remember the booklet , take the originals of all the document you have submitted in sequential order and obviously be well dressed . Do not take anything for granted .
How much time did it take for this interview to come up ? And were you served an RQ during the test or afterwards ?

Hi Mitul;
When and where did you appear for the test?
Thanks
Hi Mitul;
How long after the test you got the interview call. Also which location did you write the test?
Thanks
I already became Canadian citizen but just to let you guys know, judge was pretty strict with me and he told me to get documents from US and Canada border and also from health canada. But I have no complain because I got a chance that day and became Canadian finally.
