Prince,
Let me tell you the places that I know.
There is an Indian restaurant on King and John (Get down at University and King Subway) and you can walk down. I think it is knows as the Dhaba (in the first floor). This offers buffet (Non Veg. Indian) and at reasonable price too. Just be aware that there is another restaurant next to it (the same second floor) that does not offer the buffet.
There was another thread (search in Charcha) which was contributed by Lana2005 which told us of a restaurant (possibley buffet) at Yonge and Eglington.
Please google and find out. There are tons that I am not aware of too. Most of the ones that I am aware are in Mississauga and Brampton.
Hope this helps
Peace

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
plse get down at OSGOODE subway----the intersection is university/queen.
u will find 5 indian restaurants(Buffet) on south of queen and west of university. The price is $10.99 for one person. i think that is the cheapest in downtown. if u need their phone numbers ---plse do let me know. i can give u in a day or two
First Canadian Place food court has a Indian fast food place... can get decent food for 5-7 bucks, based on what you buy. Ofcourse fcp is always crowded at lunch time, but it is an option...
As you come out of the 'Wellesley' subway on the Wellesley street - you have 'Biryani House'. Once, I had Biryani there - it was very good.

biryani house is too expensive. dont recommend it at all.
dhaba is also somewhat pricey but better than biryani house.
the best on a subway line is yonge - eglington chef of india. on a weekend it is great.
also kama at st. andrews subway station on king st. w is pretty good.
enjoy
