Can anyone recomend a reasonably priced hotel/motel within walking or quick access of US Consulate Toronto. Can anyone recomed websites where I can do hotel search based on address ?

The area within the consulate is very upscale and I doubt you'd find a budget hotel anywhere near. Perhaps it would be better to look for one further away. As long it is close to the subway (TTC) you should be fine. The consulate itself is 5-10 mins walk from the Osgoode subway station.
