Hello guys,
I recently paid off my car loan from a bank. I also received letter stating the same from the bank. Is there anything I have to do after that? Do I need to go to the MTO office with the letter to remove any lien on it from their records, if any? Please guide.
Thanks in advance
You should get the original title back from the lending company.
Other than that, not much - celebrate

Thanks for the reply.
What i have till date:
is a statement from bank with words"......A request to discharge the lien on the above noted vahicle has been submitted as we no longer have interest in the collateral........."
and "Report on discharge province of ontario"
I am not sure what else should I expect from them
Thanks a lot

By the time someone answers your question, can you please help me with this?
I am also planning to pay off my car loan. If I go with cheque (pay order) of remaining amount to the bank which gave me loan, will they give the statements you got? or is there any other procedure/application for that and we get it later?
Thanks and good luck
