hello,
This is my first post to this forum. I am planning to land for the first time in May.
I read somewhere in this discussion board that it makes sense to stay in toronto in the initial days of landing(proximity to important places, transportation etal).
I also have been researching apartments using viewit.ca, torontorent.com etc. etc.
All apartments look fine, but, how can one find out if the neighbourhood is safe, whether there is desi concentration etc.
I have been in California for the last four years and know the general drill about looking for apartments, and, it always made sense to ask people who have been staying in the area for some time.
I would appreciate help from all of you who are familiar with this subject.
Thank you
Hi there!
I agree it's important to not only find a good apartment but a safe and secure neighbourhood as well
Website has every Toronto neighbourhood listed and has data for safety, amenities, transportation, housing prices, and even local properties listed and realtors you can connect with. It will suggest the best neighbourhoods for you based on what you need. You can learn everything about the area on it's profile page.
Check it out and good luck with your move!
Did you find apartment on craigslist ?
I think it is great area for searching apartment..
