This moment couldn't have come sooner.. a double whammy for USA... I can't decide what makes me happier.. the END of the BUSH era or the beginning of CHANGE
CONGRATS Mr. Obama... Wish you the very best! Let's hope that this YOUNG AFRICAN AMERICAN will have a good run.
On the flip side.. no more Bushisms...

This is a sad moment.
Late night shows, esp SNL .. gotta find something else
The part about the Bushisms was meant to be sarcastic.. I guess I used the wrong emoticon! I thot it was a guy puking and realised late it was a guy crying....DOH!

Congrats to the whole world...It's this breezing change people have been waiting for.
I am more happy about the end of Bush era...awful eight years...for the whole world.
I am more than positive this young African American will have a good run.
Bushisms...I can live without those...besides, there are plenty already...they make me laugh over and over again......
Agreed...other than the incorrect idiom - it ain't a "double whammy".
Bush is out,
Obama is in,
Its no "double-whammy"
That's just a "win-win".
(no rhyme intended)

Thanks for the correction Blorean!

Interesting description of first day as President...frenetic pace, tackling several issues right at the outset, economic, foreign policy, symbolic, taking the oath again ...
Seems Obama is determined to prove to one and all he IS ready on Day 1....maybe we will hear what he does at 3 am too
Seriously, however, appears to be a good start, sending the right message with his initial decisions..... wish him the best!
