Hi CD,s. I am sure a lot of you must have watched American Idol last night where our very own Desi is holding out among strong competition.
We have the strength of numbers and I appeal to all CD's to ask family and friends to VOTE for Anoop Desai on his quest to become the next American Idol.
I would also request all professionals in the ShowBiz industry in the US to give support (moral, technical, financial and training) to him.
India is leading from the front on the world stage in more ways than one and we should throw our combined weight behind ANOOP DESAI aka NOOP DOGG !!!!
Go get em' Noop !!!! THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why? Just because he has Indian blood?? Ain't good enough a reason for me.
It's a talent hunt and the talented should prevail, irrespective of racial or ethnic origin and skin color.
Its a talent show. May the most talented person win.
I am behind Adam Lambert. His rendition of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" was just out of this freakin' universe.
Anoop is very good singer too...just won't play his stuff in my home.

In my original post, what I truly meant was to show at the very least moral support to Anoop. By now, we can see he can hold out on his own.
If we are watching a tennis match, say, Leander Paes against Rafael Nadal, I would root, heart and soul for Leander, only because we come from the same land and I want him to succeed for India's sake, even though Rafael Nadal is way way above in talent and strokeplay.
The same reasoning applies to the American Idol boy, Anoop Desai, NOW IN THE FINAL 9 !!!!

I watched him tonight. He was first one to sing. It was boring and monotonous. He could end up be in the bottom three.
