You might be better off trusting the airline to take care of your child to fly as "unaccompanied minor" than trusting strangers on CD with anonymous identities, regardless of all our well intended discussions here. Of course, that also assumes your child is flying a reliable airline that offers professional services.

I surely like your suggestion of the proper path to follow and the right people who should take care of the issue in hand.
BUT, I do not like the voice in which you provide us here with the vote of confidence for the whole of the community who provide to one and all here, with timely suggestions and a little help to get by in their day to day lives.

Appreciate your feedback. There was absolutely no offense intended in my remark. If I felt CD was creeping with bunch of freaks, I would have gotten out long time ago.
My comment was very specific to the OP's message. Unless I know the identity behind anyone (BTW, I do know several individuals from CD, made friends, visited and stayed in their homes & vice versa), why would I entrust a 14 year old with a perfect stranger?
