Looking for a dentist to do basic cleaning/scaling etc. Anyone knows of any dentist's in Mississauga area who does the 1st consultation free of charge, so that I can have an idea as to how much I will be dinged in terms of x-ray, cleaning/scaling, and probably extraction costs.

All dentist do free initial consultation menas they just tell you the charges etc. they do not do free initaila check up. you go to any dentist ( desi/ videsi) they all charges as per CDA rate list. All rates are fixed for cleaning etc. but due to some lot of comptetion they give you 5-10% paitent courtesey discount.
so, it is same everywhere. Everywhere is here to make money.
Dr. savita chaudhry ( on Inslignton/albion ) is a good dentist. But charges are same everywhere.
