Rates for hotels which are still available in Jasper are arond 2.5 times than the ones in Hinton. I am getting accomodation in Black Bear Inn, Hinton in just $85/night + taxes for a room with 2 queen beds in it and continental breakfast included. We'll be staying for 2 nights. The other option would be to find some B&B in Jasper. We are 2 families going together (2 adults + 1 toddler, 4 adults + 1 child). We'll probably need 3 rooms atleast in any B&B. Any suggestions/recommendations for any B&B.

If we are staying in Hinton, do we really need to go back to Jasper town everytime we want to go sight seeing in Jasper National Park. I am asking this because Hinton may be more than an hour from Jasper town but probably half an hour from Jasper National Park east entrance.

And how is the drive from Jasper to Hinton, is it scenic?

Believe me we stayed at Hinton & its worth

Don't worry about Park Fees. It nothing compared to hotel charges in Jasper

Also there is one more good spot on the way from Hinton to Jasper

HOT WATER SPRINGS. Really nice !
