I am planning to trip to Banff -Jasper.
Does anyone know if there is any chance of finding desi food anywhere on the way?
Also does anyone have a good idea, from desi perspective, of things to do and not to miss during banff - jasper drive such as nice views, hikes etc.
And finally please suggest any good and inexpensive hotels to stay as well :)

It is a international tourist destination mainly visited by Japanese so you will find Japanese restaurant.

There is a Sardar who has many supermarkets and Gas stations in Banff but he has not opened any Indian Restaurant.

The main attractions of these places is nature otherwise there is no historical imporatance. Only in Banf you can walk on a glacier. probably the on;lly place in the world where one can walk on a glacier.

So do that walk before global warming kicks in.

One is Calgary, which one is the other (within a couple of hours of driving distance from this glacier)?
