Hello CDs,

There are many posts about saving commission from realtor/salesperson. My question is little different. Regardless to sharing commission, if I feel my realtor helped me and provided good service, how do I give him appreciation upon successful closing?

Thank-you card? Gift etc? Hope will get some good ideas. Again this is not about money but to express thanks. Also, pl share what you would personally do in this case?

Thanks in adv

Your referrals will be the best way to thank this Realtor. Successful small businesses get majority of their repeat business from their satisfied clientele referrals.

Cheers,

My realtor who helped me buy my first house is now our family friend. What I liked about him was the fact he did not sound like a used car salesman who just talks a ton with no substance or action to backup his talk. This guy was candid and gave me the plus and minus without pushing or forcing things around.

So, who knows, your realtor might be a good candidate to become family friends...that would be a form of appreciation.

I guess this is rare when you are working with busy professionals as they always keep some distance with customer. But possibleā€¦

Hi Frnd,

1) How about a 'Jaadu Ki jappi'? ;)

2) Refer him to other friends..and bring him business:)

3) Take him out to lunch.... and express your desire to get into real estate:D

P.s: whatever you do...DO NOT bring him near Rahul singh:D ....j/k rahul bhai.

cheers,

seenappa.
