Dear friends,

I became PR on July 7, 2009 and I gave my friend's address for delivering my PR card at the port of entry. My friend still did not receive my PR card. I left Canada on July 14 and came to India for seeing my parents without PR card.

Yesterday, I got a mail from my employer for joining my job. Now I have to go back to Canada within a week.

Please advise what I should do now.

If it is a copy, then, ask your employer to fax the copy to you at any location you are living, there in India. It will have all of the details of the company and the Fax numbers etc.,. Based upon that...

Please take that letter and all of the details that you have, such as your Passport, date of landing etc., there in, and also a copy of the first application for the PR Card. With that apply for a Travel Document. As I see from this website, people have obtained a Travel Document the same day from New Delhi. So, follow through that link and get back to Canada and rejoin the work.
