Hi Michelle,
I did attend pre-natal classes during my pregnancy and needless to say they were really helpful(my first baby). It was once a week class for 2 hrs running for 6 weeks. my gynac recommended these classes in mississauga where I had to pay $250 for the class and $ 50 for some other special class. But I found these classes were conducted free of charge at brampton location closer to my home by the region of peel. I am not sure about the toronto location .well you can call the toronto health dept. to find out more.

And about the classes , my hubby learnt the "ABC" of the baby:D and for me all the birthing techniques they taught were of no use bcoz I had to undergo an emergency c-section.:( but the relaxation and breathing techniques were helpful.

Shriya.

Me and my wife attended the classes couple of months ago. It was 2 hours weekly for 4 weeks. We found it informative.

Also, Mississauga provides free for charge. It is very useful.
