Hi,
I am going to appear for the PPE exam on the 23rd April in Toronto. I have used the textbooks mainly. I only have a few papers from recent years. It would be nice if we could start a forum here to share each others resources and collectively benefit. While preparing, I noticed that it is very difficult to get solved question papers (with answers) as well as more solved practice cases than the few given in the text book (especially for law ).
Here are a few tips for those appearing on the 23rd April... Hopefully, you will contribute to this forum too ...Lets keep this going...
1] There are 25 solved Ethics Case studies on the CD that comes with the Ethics Textbook, incase you dint notice
2] I have a few recent question papers that I am ready to forward if anybody wishes - please contact me at or (416-712-4847).
3] Use the illustrations in the book to get the standard text required in answering the case study questions - this will usually secure half the points for each answer.
4] Prepare to answer one case on Tort law, onc case on Contract law, and one case on Engineer as a Business or contract administrator.
5] Learn the definitions asked in last five years - these very often keep on repeating.
Most of these tips are common knowledge , but while talking to a friend today, I realized how releaving it can be if you dint know them . Hence this idea of starting a forum.
Also, has anybody attended the seminars avalialbe for this test? If there are any summaries, definitions or notes avaliable to help ease the preparation for this exam, please volunteer and share.
Please leave here more than you take. ..
Wish you all the very best of luck !!
Yours friendly.
Vande Mataram.

Has anyone taken OACETT Professional Practice Seminar conducted at Sheridan College/Conestoga college. If yes, can someone share their insights about the seminar.
thanks
I have taken the PPE in December and you do not need to take specialized courses to pass the exams. The 2 text books are sufficient. Basically there is a common pattern they follw which you will discover after going through the previous years papers. If you passed your engineering exams from a reputable univ in India the PPE should be a cakewalk.
