This morning I saw a Direct Buy's commercial where a lady is saying she saved money when buying coffee pots, blenders and toaster. With membership fee around $5000 (five thousand, not a typo) for first year, it will be joke that you can save on coffee pots, blenders and toaster.

As always, ads get misleading. I have heard people say (I think in CD), there might be savings if you are furnishing and accessorising the whole house when you move in brand new.

I have been there a while ago. As I bought new home, i need everything new in my home so went there. They asking for $5000 for 1 year membership. and then we can buy furniture and other stuff at factory prices. so that we can save retailer's price.
Its really funny. The people are really foolish who becomes member of it.
