I guess the topic is gradulally changing....
As a South Indian, Tim's coffee is closest to the South Indian version...
I just can not stand Starbucks. It is very strong and makes you puke and the price is way over the top.
The other day, I received a free $5 Starbuck's coffee card and I went to try it out. One Capachinio and a milk drink later , I had to pay an extra $2 from my own pocket on top of the $5 gift card. The Capachino (The cheapest one available) went straight to the Garbage...
Even at Tim's there are times when the coffee is no good and there are times when the coffee is good. All for the same " Double, Double". So it does not show any universal standards.

PEace out

TK a timms "double double"is the closest thing i have found to "filter"coffee in Canada. As for Starbucks, if you have to go again stay away from cappuccino, have a "latte" instead ....

Exactly!!! :). Tim Horton's steep tea is the only closest to our chai. That's why I like it. However, there's nothing like our own 'ghar ki chai - with adarak aur ilaichi'.
