Hi guys,
I am a Canadian citizen. I sponsored my wife while living in India. Me my wife and our child arrived in Canada 2 months ago but I couldn't find a job yet. I am running out of money and do not have any means of paying my next rent. So my question is can I apply for Social Assistance for me and my family until I find a job? Please reply.

Rightly said by Mgupta.
Provinces like Saskatchewan are better to find survival jobs since less number of people going there. However you need have a plan (funds) to survive few more months and for your travel.
Since you lived in Canada before you are not new and you should be knowing lot of things. Apparently you have not done much homework.
You may do some research for charity organizations that help the immigrants who are in trouble. If I find some I will let you know.
