One of my friend from Gulf is interested in investing about $100K CAD into a printing business in Canada. He also wants me to join him as a business partner.

- What is the scope of a printing business, is it lucrative with high margins, or is it a volume driven business?

- Is it a good idea to buy into an existing business, or does it make better sense to start one from the scratch?

- I have looked up a few business listings that are up for sale, but the prices vary from 40K to 150K. Not too sure how to go about it !!

Is there anyone in this forum who is into this type of business, maybe can provide me with some feedbacks.

Hi,
Printing is indeed a profitable business only & only if you are into it for a long time to come.
You may not see immediate results as in convinence or grocery stores.
The more experience you gather , more & more you find avenues to grow and expand, obvious ly you have the customer base formed by then
