Wow!! That is a surprise. Best of luck in your future endeavours. Hope you get over the cultural shock in India (corporate and social) quickly after staying in Canada for 5 years.

Hey guys,
Truly I did not wish to delete this so fast. Its just a tribute to a genuine virtual (not virtual friend now as I have met him once) CD friend, who felt low after reading my April 1st joke. We ae very much in Canada and are having no plans to go back. Bhag dod vali zindagi main do gadi anand.
However, let me put some true thoughts here about how we have walked through in CANADA so far. We are happy and enjoying the balance between work and life. But after spending more than 30 quality years in INDIA, our souls remain INDIAN and I think, we are one of those lucky people, who have been showered by the all mighty to love two great nations with one heart!!!
I think althogh I am very happy here, I have a desire to go back may be after 20 years from now to enjoy my culture with DOLLARs for sure. Both the places have bagged such an important place in our heart and we can't live with only one of it. Canada gives us SYSTEM, INFRASTRUCTURE, DOLLARS and BALANCE of work:life, where INDIA gives us EMOTIONS, CULTURE and GREAT MOMENTS TO GO BACK TO OUR MEMORIES.
I wish, I could have prolonged my thread a bit longer but at the same time, I thought of respecting many CD friends, who have taken it differently (emotionally, I think as many of us including myself miss INDIA for sure).
But hey, I saw 68 CD friends viwing my post and many of them would have been the victim of April 1st, right??? ENJOY life!!
Plan the long weekend. I have a long list, Cricket tomorrow on the ground, Karaoke, couple of business calls, Lots of DARU (scotch, he he), IPL, Friends, Visit to Kelso park and Movies till morning.
