Any reviews on the service . Thinking of a shift looking at the home phone rates offered by rogers once the contract is over..

I am using Vonage since last April 2011. Till date i have not faced any major issue. It is very cheap as compared to Rogers and Calling card to home country. Connectivity and Voice quality depends on your internet. I have faced some issue with some of the unique Vonage features. Example I have activated Simu Ring Features. But some time it does not work. Vonage instruments are portable. You can use your vonage instrument from any place that has internet connectivity. There are some referral incentive as well. Customer Service is not good.

There are some contractual obligation after 30 days.

Overall it is value for money. You can try it for 30 days. You can return it within 30 days if you don't like.

You will NOT go wrong with Vonage. Free calls ( unlimited) across whole North America and to India. ( including cell phones). You never need another calling card or other things. comes loaded with features like call wait, forward, voicemail, simulring etc.

I have it since many years and no issues.

Vonage is value for money, been using for past 1.5 yrs without a single problem, service is excellent. Nominal charges for unlimited calling all over the world from our phone. We spend half of saturday talking to folks in India. excellent voice quality, it gives voice messages in my gmail, keep record of all the calls received and placed which you can access thru online profile, even forward the calls to mobile when away.
Highly recommended !! every thing else like cards etc is a hassle.

My in-laws and we have been using ITP 4U (separate lines) and we are happy with the service. Line is clear to India, UK and US where we make regular calls. Unlimited calling of course for a flat fee and no contract. Referrals benefit both parties

I can offer an UNLIMITED INTERNET usage/home phone for $67.00 per month. This includes all the phone features (caller id, call waiting etc), and unlimited calling to 60 countries, including India.
Comes with all regular features, call waiting, call forwarding, caller id...
