Can we have a list of people of Indian origin, who have managed to reach at higher posts in Government/Politics or have a presence in media?

Harinder Takhar - Ontario Transport Minister
Ujjal Dosanjh - Ex BC Premier/Liberal MP
All other MP/MPP/municipal councillors s of Indian origin
Alok Mukherjee - Holds an important position in Toronto city department
Dr Sheila Basrur - Is she of Indian origin?
Dr. DaCunha??? - The doctor who was a prominent face on TV during SARS epidemic
One of the faculty/dean in Rotman School of Management at U of T is of Indian origin

Not sure if we need to include people of Indian origin who came from the Caribbeans. This includes Harold Husein, Francis D'Souza & Merella Fernandez on City Pulse

Because he is one of the first few guys who contributed immensely to the development of this site and bring it a level where it is today.
Because he was also the ONLY person who drove down not once but twice (once with his whole family) to Toronto to contribute to the first meeting of the CD members.........in a winter storm which took him 8hrs to reach here!
And because he is one of those guys whose success story we all have liked to be put on CD........he is a guy who worked his butt off during the first year or so in Canada - in warehouses and as security guard, but today is respected in his profession of film animation.
And in case you do not know him, he was one of the first few moderators of this site.
