you can come to my place in etobicoke and I shall help you book our party hall if you wish. I think they charge $300 and refundable deposit $200.

You can rent picnic shelters in the park on an hourly basis and bring your own food. We have done this four our son's b'day twice now and it worked out great. You just can't have any alcohol.
With the good weather, this is a great way to celebrate.

Anyone know of a *clean* outdoor/picnic shelter
Thanks for the tips.
- We thought of community centre halls, but they are very boring .. look like classrooms
- We thought of banquet halls, but pricy and too formal (I like casual parties).
- We thought of conservation parks, but many are booked, and many charge an entry fee. I did not want to guests to pay to enter park.
- Free parks is first come first server and no shelter.
- With parks rain was an issue too.
So eventually after all that brainstorming, we are doing and outdoor/indoor event at back lawn/home
I was thinking of putting a tent shade/canopy thing to block out sun (maybe rain). Any ideas (apart form Canadian tire) on where to get this.
Also Any recos for well priced party rentals i.e. tables and chairs
