please help for new immigrant of may2010 require office admn. job

please help if you have contact or reference to get a job of office administration near scarborough or any where so i can get immediate contact that company as i am new immigrant with spouse & one child, landed in may-2010,
search job from very next till today including registerd with agencies , on net applied online application , no one respond as indian rupees r going to spend find is difficult to survive if do not get immediate job.
so started frustrating as one month is completed no calls no mails for job,
i was a computer programmer in india so i be able to do administrative,data entry job also in beginning later on stability will go for better job.
pl help or reply or guide for proper channel thru. which way i should get job

Do you have TWO good references here in Canada., if so, ... Apply to those companies and wait for a call. Till then do odd jobs that you find, just to keep your head bobbing above the water level.

Have you had anyone review your resume?
Just FYI - your post above is full of incomplete sentances, no punctuation and incorrect grammar. Administrative assistants are required to have strong attention to detail. Review your resume to see if there are any similar mistakes.

Do not loose heart. As suggested by morning rain, have your resume reviewed by ACCESS at Scarborough.
You have mentioned in your post that you are registered with agencies - does it mean Service Canada Agencies or placement agencies.
It is very important to improve your communication skills...the counsellor at ACCESS will suggest you options.

I would advice you to apply for some store jobs in the meantime till you find your proper job..................hubby start with blue colour job and ended with white colour job. Little bit patience and sacrifice. Wish you the best.
