Today to my surprise i was just checking my status and saw following words "DECISION MADE" and following lines under the link:

"We started processing your application on April 04, 2001.

Interview scheduled for October 14, 2004.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

As you know i as an indian applied from Paris. Now could you put some light when will i be receiving pp request i.e time length. Today my e-client changed as above.

My E-Client showed "Decision Made in August 2003". I got my papers in Jan 2004. It depends on where they are on your background check.

Could you put some light on Background check.

1) At what stage of the process does Background check takes place.
2) What exactly do they check in Background checking?
