Can you please suggest me as how much time does it take to get PR done? As you have mentioned that u will be going back to Dubai after doing initial formalities. I applied for family immigration and waiting for my medicals to come. I am expecting this to happen in a months time. Even though I have applied, I am still in confusion if everything goes well with my file, should I go to Canada or not?
I am doing pretty ok here in India. I can also do the same which you are planning to do, complete the formalities and come back to India and then see the right time to move. I cannot take a risk of leaving everything here and take my wife and kid to a new country with no job in hand. Another option I am seeing is I go first and do the initial set up, stays for few months and then ask my family to come later. Can you please provide some inputs?
Can anyone is this forum help me with my confusions? Please share your or your known experiences.

hi there.well i had done my landing in 2008 oct with my husband n daughter and we had located a guest house via net in scarborough near scarborough town center. n since u wud b particular abt halal food. there r a coiple of places where u get indian food. its run by chinese people.but its gud n well connected.so if u r interested plz reply bak.tc.

Thanks for the information provided. Pls provide me the name of guest house, or web site or any other related information if you have in this regards. Of course I would be preffer HALAL food so pls suggest if any indian or Paki resturant?

Hi Guys, i was reading ht above post and just wanted to check if the same is applicable now also in Canada as we are planning to move by next year mid, so when can we obtain this Lesson bayanat from RTA.
ALSO SEE IF YOU CAN OBTAIN AN INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS LICENCE.

Depending upon how long it will take to get one, a month prior to your departure from there, should be enough.
If you can cut across to the Automobile Club and obtain an International Drivers Permit, it will help you here in the long run. They will ask you for a set of pictures to stick on it.
Make it an English Version. (Saves the translation charges)
