I have always used true roots ever since i've moved to Canada. Its around 5.8 cents a minute. They also run occasional promotions from time to time. Its value for money with a very efficient customer service too. Have never gone back to calling cards after discovering true roots.
I used Trueroots for sometime but they are still very expensive. Moved to Localphone and call quality is better even with VOIP over wifi and rates about 3.5 times less
Trueroots has another plan - TrueValue Plan - Call India @ 3.4 c/min (Toll Free) and 1.9 c/min (Local Access)
They previously had a subscription charge of $10.99, which is now waived. Initial validity is for 6 months. They previously had a offer for extending the validity by 1 year on a recharge which expired on June 30th and then got extended to Aug 31st 2009. Hopefully they come back with the recharge offer once again.
I've been using this service with no complaints.

Localphone is 1.55 cents/minute local access and if you use via SIP then no charges for even the local cal. I think Truephone also offer SIP
