CHENNAI: Six Thai women, working as masseuses at a parlour run by an actor's husband and two others, on Thursday alleged that they were being "compelled to get in the sex trade", besides being threatened that "they would not be paid the agreed salary if they did not accept and yield to the sexual demands of customers".
Submitting a petition to City Police Commissioner T Rajendran, the Thai nationals - Pajongjit Pahttayakason, Arunsi Ja, Pimnapass Chanthong, Nongnaphat Phosri, Thamkon Sutthiduk and Suraya Langkarn - aged between 25 and 30, said they were qualified massage therapists and were recruited 10 months ago by 3R Group, owned by A Ravindra (actor Yuvarani's husband), Immanuel and Ramesh, to work at their massage parlour in Ashok Nagar.
V S Kalyani, secretary of Deepam Madhar Sangam - which has taken up the cause of the women - said male customers insisted on being nude and misbehaved with the Thai masseuses. "There were instances when they ran out with their clothes torn," she said. But, they were always advised "to adjust" and sent back.
When they refused to get sexually involved with their clients and wanted to quit, the employers did not pay them the agreed salary and overtime allowance. Besides, each woman was asked to shell out Rs 2 lakh for termination of the agreement.
Kalyani said the 3R Group has a branch in T Nagar, which was recently raided by the police, as well as in Madurai, Tirupur and Bangalore.
Things came to a head on November 30 when Pimnapass Chanthong (30) was thrown out of the parlour.
The CoP directed the petition to the ACP of Ashok Nagar for a probe.

Why they are objecting in India , when they dont object in Bangkok? I think some price difference is the reason.
