Hi

Need some feedback on precious metal funds, such as BMO precious metals & TD precious metals.
Also, what is the near term future of BTO, analysts are predicting a strong uptrend, not sure whether to sell or hold for more profit.

Thanx

Mods: Can we start a new sub-section under the heading of "Investing & Stock Trading"??

What ashedfc has suggested on CD is doing very well so far .
I am monitoring few of his picks and they are up almost 30 % in the last few weeks .
BTO.TO is one of the examples .

PM option is not working, gives me an error message. Maybe I will drop in your office sometime next week for a discussion. Will call you before that.

Thanks

Any Precious Metals Fund is good. Its basically the the next boom formation happening in the PM sector, fiat currency devaluation is fueling the boom. Go for the managers with high "Beta", as buying the index is not the right strategy in such a market. Its the expertise of the management which gives the growth.

BTO is great (excellent company, very good future & a takeover target). I sold some of my BTO because I got a better opportunity, so to sell or to hold or to buy more is an individual circumstance. There are several similar stuff available out there. The FUN in the precious metals sector has just begun, its a long way to go. "Its similar to the early stages of Tech Boom - when valuations started picking up & later in became parabolic & rediculous"

PM me if you want to know more

TD Precious metals has slight edge over BMO PM in terms of returns.

The banks always advise not to invest in this fund and they say it is high risk fund. But from day 1 i have been seeing very good returns.

By PM, I meant "the message option" is not working for me on the CD website.
