Hi,

I was illegal in US. I left voluntarily, went to canada and married my girlfriend. Came to India when visa expired. (2yrs ago)

Had interview yesterday in Delhi. Submitted a ton of letters, phone bills emails, cards and photos. The interviewer was clearly in a very bad mood, finding faults and being very unreasonable. I answered all the questions (hard and tricky qns) truthfully and accurately.

She said she was not convinced the marriage was real as i was illegal in US before and that quote "the letters, phone bills and photos have no impact". She told me she will look over the case again and reply in mail. Took my mails and Phone bills.

So its most probably rejected. She will take decision this week.
What are my options?
Can i ask to be re-interviewed with different person and have my wife present?

but it needs immediate attention otherwise if she refuses you will have no option but to appeal.
that means u will lose precious time.
may be u consult some lawyer.
or some experinced desis can chip in
