My parents are going to visit me next year in Jun in Toronto for 3 weeks. While they are here, they wish to visit some cities in USA. I suggested the major cities of East Coast ..Chicago, Washington DC, NYC Philly etc.

Now I am trying to figure out what is the most economic way to plan their trip. They are old and cannot make long bus travels. ( 5 hrs max on bus).

How should I proceed? Is there any agent I can contact that offers a package tour?

I would recommend using an Indian tour in your case. Check out tours by Kesari, Raj Travels, SOTC, THomas Cook India.

In many cases, they allow you to join their tour directly in the US.

Meeting people is easy. Having meaningful connections is the hard part.

Just to add to Hamrahi's post - these bus tours make a halt every 2-3 hours and very rarely will they travel all day at a stretch, (which is what the open requires) the exception being the 7 day East Coast Tour, which goes for about 10 to 12 hours on the 2nd day from Montreal to New Brunswick.
