Hi

Would like to explore the pickering and area around to buy home and settle. my budget is 400k or less and requirement of 3-4 bedrooms. Any suggestions in terms of affordability, schooling near by ? or any suggestion to take on near by areas in same budget ? My wife will have to travel to Markham (south of 407) for the job.

it seems pickering is not popular destination for the desis !!!

Is a nuclear station not in Pickering. And you want to retire their after Japanese episode. Best of luck

by that logic , Markham, Ajax & Toronto is also not safe due to its proximity !! there are 1.5 million people living within the distance of 30 kms of pickering nuclear power plant !!
