we are hyderbad based couple right now in arizona usa, migrating to canada next march. just joined this site. its really good way to see and learn things about new country which we are going to settle in future. Thanks for the person who started it.

we are looking for some guidance where to settle in canda . Ontario Province or Vancover area
if any one has suggestion please do post it

If you want to look for jobs in IT then best of luck.

The most of IT companies are in Toronto or Kitchener/Waterloo area. The other cities in Canada are mostly for non-IT jobs.

hyderabad,india. we are not looking for IT jobs only but want buy some convience store . so we are looking for good business in good location

any sugesstion are welcome

For business Toronto is not so good - there are lots of immigrants from south asia, china etc. those are owning stores and competition is very stiff.

please look for other places. If you don't need to stay with desi people - it is better to go in remote area - this is my thought - I am Software professional and not expert on convenience store...

Within GTA (Greater Toronto Area), the franchise for the business (ex: Pizza Hut ..) is very costly. Where as if you move to suburban areas (like 100 miles away from city) the chances are the franchise costs are less but the business growth will be slow.

I have no business experience in convience stores, but that's what my experience when I looked into them.

Just off-topic, there are few Telugus here compared to Punjabis/Tamilians/Gujarathis...
