we are 4 girls moving in saskatoon from toronto on work permit and we need a 2 bed room + 1 living room apartment on rent ASAP.
the fire laws must allow 4 people to stay in one aprtment.

Bhalochela,
any number of persons can stay in an apartment exp. in Saskatoon which is a less populated place and apartments are old and many. So do not worry too much about it. Fire laws may be there but then it is only a law for name sake.
For example, your landlord may allow you to register 2 names in the lease agreement (for 2 bedrooms) but then the others can stay as guests . No issues or worries unless it is very upscape apartments which may not even exist in Saskatoon.

my wife was supposed to stay in a 2bhk apartment but the landlord at the last moment refused bcoz of the firelaws as they were 4 ladies. he was not aware they wd be 4.
hence I had to mention the point in my post.
@ Gurram: I would once she gets SINP. She just moved in S'toon last week.
and if that is denied, then I have to wait till the PR and thats a long process. I mean atleast 9 + 15 months from now I guess. I hope rules remain the same till that period.
