Hello I am first time coming to Toronto as an immigrant, I am interested in knowing some primary schools for my son where there are some Indian students.

Also want to know which area is good for Indians to rent an apartment.
I am strictly vegetarian too and jain.

What amount I need to pay for a single room apartment ( reasonble area)

For schools we have discussion earlier on this board - you should check this board in detail.

There are many pockets of Desis in Toronto. We have a poll on this site about it and you can see the result -

Mississauga 30.8%
Scarborough 19.7%
Brampton 13.9%
Etobicoke 8.6%
North York 8.0%
Markham 7.0%
Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Maple 4.0%
Downtown 3.6%
Others 2.6%
Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa 1.8%

Your kid will go the school in the area you live, you will not have any choice for that. If you prefer you can go for a private school have about 800$ per month fees.
