When I landed here in 2009 my passport was in my maiden name. However by the time I moved to live in Canada permanantly in 2011 my name had officially changed on my passport to my married name.However my PR card still has my old name and also all other stuff like OHIP and driving licence and bank account.
I wanted to change the name on my PR card to my married name but I have a few questions
a)Seems like I will have to renew my PR card at least once since I came to live here only in late 2011. Can I do the name change at that time? Will it cause confusion then?
b)If I do decide to go ahead and do the name change what would be the expiry date on the PR card (2014 like my old one or 5 years from the issue date of the new one)
c) Should I wait for the citizenship time when I get the passport issued?
