Hi,

Is there any place in toronto like South hall of London. I also saw Little India in toronto's map, is it similar to Singapore's Little India.

Cheers
Raj

K.Raj, haven't seen Singapore's Little India, but what we have here is 100 times better than what New York has to offer. We were passing by and came across small Indian like stores and opted to stop for breakfast, around 11am one Sunday. After parking and walking a little, the stench and dirt surrounding the street just put us off. Since we wanted to explore further, we stopped outside a breakfast place - you will not believe it, it was exactly like back home - Makki and all........ since it was a windy day in October last, there were pieces of newspapers swirling all over the place.... and to top it off, the owner tells us (we were still standing on the doorstep) the place is closed until 2pm for lunch, but a board states delicious South I. b/fast available from 7am. Arre all the shops looked like this fellow's.........

Hi,

Gerard Street is supposed to be the closest thing to Southall in the UK (although you can't beat Green Street mate!)
