hello ,
i had applied fsw program with aeo to nova scotia on 6 nov 2012. still till date i havn't recieved file number.
kindly guide me how much time they take>?

They had frozen the intake of FSW category. But the others are still in full swing.
What I last heard about the FSW Program is, that it is on HOLD. They will resume the intake after the 4th of MAY 2013

But there is no freeze on people who have an offer already
As of July 1, 2012, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has temporarily stopped accepting applications for the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). This temporary pause does not apply to those with a qualifying job offer or applying under the PhD stream. We will likely start accepting applications again when the revised FSWP selection criteria take effect. Proposed FSWP changes should come into force in 2013.
Do you know, how much time it takes to get a file number?
two months
It all depends on lots of factors, e.g. one of our clients with the family was able to complete the process within a year, another one in a very similar situation is still in process.
